In 1994 the first chalet was built and so began MountainLoft Resort. Several of our oldest owners tell us they bought when it was only dirt and trees. Well we still have the dirt, and the trees have grown taller, we now have 384 units and if you ask the front desk staff they will tell you we are busier than ever. There is no off season anymore in Gatlinburg,it sure is nice being so popular! Once you come here you can see why, sit down in one of our rocking chairs and look straight up and there you will see the highest peak in Tennessee... Mount LeConte, the mist circles her head like a crown and she is beautiful. The staff inside are ready for you with smiles and a whole lot of activities so you can make many memories to last you until your next visit. So when can we expect you? We'll keep the coffee brewing and the southern hospitality waiting just for you.

VEGAS BABY!...ok Gatlinburg
The Newlywed Game Show was orgiinally created by Nick Nicholson and produced by Chuck Barris. The show became famous for some of the arguments that couples had over incorrect answers and even led to divorces in some cases. Many of the Newlywed questions dealt with "Making Whoopee". ;) However this became a catchphrase that Bob Eubanks continued to use into the 1990's and beyond. Just a bit of background on a very fun game!
Did they know everything about each other? Looks as if they did! :)

Guests sit and wait unknowing, smoke swirls around a crescendo of mystery and magic, breaths are taken and held for what is to come and then there...stepping out of the mist....The Great Treydini!!!! Okay, I have taken a writers liberty here and elaborated somewhat....okay a lot :) But seriously, he is a great magician and if you're here during August come on down to the Clubhouse and see the Great Treydini!
